Terms and Conditions
Last updated 8 September 2026
These terms govern your use of infinitum.travel and the travel advisory services provided by Infinitum Ltd. Co., a South Carolina limited liability company trading as Infinitum Travel, partnered with Gateway Travel. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean Infinitum Travel, and "you" means the person requesting or receiving our services.
By submitting a consultation request or engaging us to arrange travel, you agree to what follows. If you do not agree, do not submit a request.
1. What we do
We are a travel advisory. We plan itineraries and act as your agent in arranging travel with third party suppliers, including airlines, hotels, villa operators, cruise lines, lodges, tour operators, ground transport providers, and insurers.
We are not the supplier of any travel service. We do not own, operate, or control the aircraft, vessels, vehicles, properties, or staff that deliver your travel. Each supplier is an independent business operating under its own terms.
2. Consultations and proposals
An initial consultation is provided at no cost and creates no obligation on either side. Any itinerary, quote, or proposal we provide is an offer to arrange travel, not a confirmed booking.
Prices, availability, and supplier terms change constantly and are not held until a deposit is received by the supplier and a confirmation is issued. A quote that expires or a rate that moves before deposit is not something we can hold on your behalf.
3. Fees and how we are paid
We are generally compensated by commission paid by suppliers after travel is completed. This does not increase the price you pay.
Where a planning fee, research fee, or service fee applies, we will tell you the amount in writing and obtain your agreement before any chargeable work begins. We do not add undisclosed fees.
4. Payments
Payments for travel are made to suppliers, not to us, unless we have told you otherwise in writing for a specific charge. Card details are collected and stored only through the secure systems of our host agency, Gateway Travel.
Never send full payment card details to us by email, text message, social media, or through the form on this website. If you receive a request to do so, it did not come from us. Contact us at 843.855.0095 before acting on it.
You are responsible for meeting every payment deadline set by a supplier. Missed deadlines can cancel a booking automatically and can forfeit deposits, and we cannot reverse that.
5. Changes, cancellations, and refunds
Changes, cancellations, and refunds are governed by the terms of the supplier holding the booking, not by us. Those terms are frequently strict, and many deposits and fares are non refundable from the moment they are issued.
We will tell you the material cancellation terms before you commit, and we will advocate for you if something goes wrong. We cannot override a supplier's policy, and we do not guarantee any outcome from that advocacy.
6. Travel protection
We recommend travel protection on every trip, covering at minimum trip cancellation, interruption, medical care abroad, and emergency evacuation. Personal medical insurance frequently does not cover you outside your home country.
If you decline travel protection, you accept the full financial risk of cancellation, interruption, delay, medical expense, and evacuation. We may ask you to confirm that decision in writing.
7. Documents, identity, and entry requirements
You are responsible for holding valid travel documents. This includes a passport with sufficient remaining validity, which is commonly six months beyond your return date, along with any required visas, transit permits, entry authorisations, and proof of vaccination or health status.
Names on every booking must match your passport exactly. Name corrections after ticketing are expensive and are sometimes impossible. You are responsible for reviewing every confirmation we send you and telling us promptly about any error.
We will share entry requirement guidance where we can, but requirements change without notice and the final responsibility for meeting them is yours. Denied boarding or denied entry for a documentation failure is not refundable.
8. Your information
You agree that the information you give us is accurate and that you have authority to provide the details of anyone else travelling with you. Our handling of your information is described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the acts, errors, omissions, injuries, losses, delays, or damage caused by any supplier or by any event outside our reasonable control. That includes weather, natural events, mechanical failure, strike, civil unrest, government action, epidemic, and closure of borders or airspace.
Where we are found liable for our own negligence in arranging your travel, our total liability is limited to the amount of the fees you paid directly to us for that booking.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
10. This website
Content on this site is provided for general information. Destination descriptions, imagery, and pricing indications are not offers and are not guarantees of availability or price.
The Infinitum Travel name, the diamond mark, and the site's design and copy are our property. The Gateway Travel name and logo are the property of Gateway Travel and appear here under our partnership with them.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Horry County, South Carolina.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version posted on this page at the time you submit a request is the version that applies to that request.
